Presumably, things are moving in the right direction. There are positive signs showing recently with the Iraqi Prime Minister visiting Iran to establish a closer tie between the two countries. The main topic discussed was the US long term military presence in Iraq. Ordinary people on the streets probably careless about the progress taking place but the situation could be worse.
